UTP-4x1500

The AVE TwistPlex of UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) adapters bring the ease of using structured CAT 3,4,5,6 for tranmission of video signals. The UTP-1500 passive device transmits and receives up to 2000 ft (500m) of full color video with CAT5 or better. The unique design allows for single handed installation with the use of push cage clamp terminals eliminating cumbersome mini screwdrivers. The small size allows for connection directly on the rear of the camera and is only slightly larger than TwistOn BNC connectors.
When extended range is required the use of the active Transmitter of the Active Receiver can reach up to 3000 ft or 1 km with full color. The VECA or VECA UTP can pre compensate for video levels and color enhancement on the transmitting side. The Active Receiver recovers color information and with the AGC (Automatic Gain Control) circuitry, constantly compensates for proper video levels due to unpredictable UTP wiring losses or camera changes without user adjustment.

For multiple camera installations the use of the passive or Active Hubs simplify installation. The AVE hubs include individual cage clamps for individual UTP video runs or a common RJ45 for CAT5 which can accommodate 4 video cameras in one cable run. The dealer friendly design allows simple wall mounting of the two piece design. For the 8 or 16 camera hubs rack mounting ears are provided for forward or reverse mounting along with attractive desktop mounting. Active models allow for 12-28 VAC or VDC power source for any installation requirement.

The fully compatible product line allows the interchangeability of passive and active components to extend range or improve performance as required.

These simple devices need no tools to install, Just push and hold the locking buttons, insert the wire and release.
